Mary Shanagher

SHANAGHER (née Murphy), Mary (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Eyeries, Castletownbere, Co. Cork) August 26th, 2025 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Connolly Hospital. Beloved wife of Edward (Eddie) and devoted mother of Vincent, Angela, Frances and Deirdre. Predeceased by her brother Jerry. Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughters, sisters Rosarie, Kathleen and Bernie, brothers Jackie, Donal and Jimmy, grandchildren John, Hannah, Ada, Kate and Emma, sons-in-law Adrian and JP, Frances’ partner Danny, daughter-in-law Sandra, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at home on Thursday evening (August 28th) between 5 pm and 7 pm. House strictly private at all other times, please.  Removal on Friday morning (August 29th) to St. Mary’s Church, Lucan arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Esker Lawn Cemetery.
