PARKES, Robert (Bertie) (Dunboyne, Co. Meath and formerly from Collooney, Co. Sligo). Passed away peacefully on November 4th 2026, surrounded by his loving family, and in the wonderful care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.
Beloved husband of Bernadette (Bernie) and dear father of Gráinne and Enda. Predeceased by his sister Maura.
Bertie will be forever loved and sadly missed by his wife and children, granddaughters Aoibheann and Saorlaith, son-in-law Cory, brothers Joe and Tommy, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Cunninghams Funeral Home, Dunboyne on Friday evening (November 6th) between 5pm and 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning (November 7th) to the Church of Ss. Peter and Paul, Dunboyne arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Rooske Cemetery.
