Michael (Mick) Cheevers (Clonsilla, Dublin and formerly of Merchant’s Quay and Finglas Place) passed away peacefully, at home on September 4th 2026.
Predeceased by his parents Molly and Kevin and his brothers Denis, Kevin and Brian.
He will be greatly missed for his wit and wisdom by his family.
Deeply missed by his children Lorraine, Paula, Claire, Jennifer and Grace and their mother Fionnuala, his sons-in-law William, Alan and Shane, his loving grandchildren Alex, Madeleine, Ethan, Laura and Ruán, brother Tommy and sisters Mary, Anne, Patricia and Carolann, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephew, relatives and his wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Clonsilla Village on Wednesday evening (September 9th) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.
A Celebration of Mick’s Life will take place at 2.20pm on Thursday afternoon (September 10th) in Glasnevin Crematorium.
