KENNY, Denis (Celbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Gorey, Co. Wexford). Passed away peacefully on September 1st, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, and in the wonderful care of the staff at Connolly Hospital.
Dinny, beloved husband of Mary and dear father of Emer, Denis (Jnr) and Brian. Predeceased by his parents Sheila and Denis, his aunt Katie, and his sisters Anne, Cecily, Mary and Breda.
Will be forever loved and sadly missed by his wife and children, grandchildren Séamus, Éabha, Caragh, Ruth and Nell, son-in-law Patrick, daughters-in-law Sinead and Mairead, brothers John and Matt, sisters Peggy and Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Celbridge on Thursday evening (September 3rd) between 6pm and 8pm.
House private thereafter.
Removal on Friday afternoon (September 4th) to St. Patricks Church, Celbridge arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm followed by burial in Donacomper Cemetery.
