GARVEY, Patrick (Paddy) (Navan Road, Dublin 7 and formerly of Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo) July 25th, 2018 (peacefully) at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of Kathleen and dear father of Mary, Gerard, Austin, Patricia, Declan and Catherine and a cherished grandfather of Lucas, Sophie and Matthew; Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Vincent, David and Martin, daughter-in-law Audrey, brothers Rev. John and Edward, sisters Mary, Catherine and Joan, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home on Thursday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal to the Church of Our Lady Help of Christians, Navan Road on Friday morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.30am followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.

Dear Kathleen and family,
It is with great sadness that I heard of Paddy’s passing. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this time.
I have fond memories of Paddy, from the first time he rescued Mom and myself after the bomb scare in the Ormond Hotel ,to the many Sunday afternoons that I spent at your home while studying in Dublin. and was welcomed with open arms.
May he rest in peace.
