BRENNAN, Paddy (Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 and formerly of Phibsboro, Dublin 7) and former member and Archivist of Dublin Grand Opera Society, August 3rd., 2022 (peacefully) at home surrounded by his family after a long illness.  Beloved husband and best friend of Catherine and dear father of Colm, Aisling and Nicola and father-in-law to Paola, Paul and the late Gerry and devoted Nonno of Kíla, Kara, Kay, Sadhbh and Manus; sadly missed by his loving sister Eileen, extended family, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at home on Friday evening (August 5th) between 5 pm and 8 pm. Paddy’s life will be celebrated at Glasnevin Crematorium on Saturday morning (August 6th) at 10:30 am.  Which may be viewed online (Live Only) by following this LINK

As this is a celebration of Paddy’s life, the family have asked all to wear a splash of colour on the day.  Family flowers only, please, donations if desired to St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.

Paddy I was delighted to speak with you by phone while you were in hospital and had hoped to meet up when you left. Alas it was not to be. I fondly remember the times we spoke about opera in school and occasions we appeared as extras in Turandot in 1960

I am so sad to hear just now of Paddy’s death . To be honest I have been thinking of him a lot this week not knowing he had died . There must be a God . I had been in touch with our Australian cousin and was going to tell her to check it out .
