DURNEY, Michael (Poppintree, Dublin 11 and formerly of Francis Street, Dublin 2) July 2nd., 2021 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Elm Green Nursing Home, Castleknock.  Beloved husband of the late Olive and much loved father of Carol, Jacqueline, Mandy and Derek; Sadly missed by his loving children, grandchildren Louise, Sarah, Callum, Ella, Adam and Kelly, great-grandchildren Jack and Charlie, son-in-law Alan, and partners John and Stephen, brother Joe, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Due to government guidelines a private funeral will take place, but may be viewed online on Monday July 5th. at 10am by following this LINK.

Those who would have liked to attend the funeral; but due to current restrictions cannot, please leave your personal message or condolence below.

Michael’s Funeral Cortège is expected pass his home on Monday morning (July 3rd.) at 11am (approx.) via Belclare as it proceeds to the Crematorium. Anyone wishing to stand along the route as a mark of respect are asked not to gather in groups and to adhere to all guidelines relating to social distancing and the wearing of face masks.
