James (Shay) Doherty

DOHERTY, James (Shay) (Palmerstown, Dublin 20, formerly of South Circular Road, Kilmainham, Dublin 8 and long-standing member of Lucan GC and The Island GC) July 25th, 2018 (peacefully) surrounded by his family at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.  Beloved husband of Mary, much loved father of Robert, Alan and Jim and cherished grandfather of Hannah, Karl, Eva, Holly and the late Baby Ellen. Predeceased by his brother Paddy and sister Kitty.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Jenny and Trish, Alan's partner Anne, brothers Michael, Donal and Tom, sisters Jeanette, Maura, Deirdre, Margaret and Anita, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cunninghams Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Lucan on Thursday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Funeral Service on Friday at 4pm in The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to A Little Lifetime Foundation.
