GREENE (Lucan, Co. Dublin and ex. Aer Lingus) March 9th. 2018 (peacefully) in the Hermitage Medical Clinic. Jim, devoted husband to Deirdre, wonderful loving father of Jane, Claire and Paul, adored grandad of Niall, David, Grace, Alex, Sam, Isabelle, Anna and James and brother of Jack, Mary, Ann and the late Mike and Pat. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Declan, daughter-in-law Julie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends. R.I.P.
Reposing at his Residence on (Monday) evening from 5.00 o’c to 7.00 o’c. Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Lucan on (Tuesday) morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.00 o’c followed by burial in Esker Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society. Special thanks to the Hermitage Medical Clinic, Lucan. Thanks to Dr. Salib and palliative nurse Kate McLoughlin, as well as the outstanding nurses and support staff of St. Mark’s Ward.

We are so deeply sorry about the loss!
Jim was our Landlord when we lived in Ireland but more important than that he was our friend. From the very first day he made us feel at home. Whenever we needed help, Jim came around. One can still find the pole in the backgarden he erected to put on our satellite dish. Anja and Jim tried to catch mice in the attic and many many more things we remember and often talk about. We enjoyed the times at the fireplace in Ashville. You made our first Christmas in Hermitage a special one to remember for our whole family. You were there when we married and our first child was born.
It is hard to find the right words! Our thoughts are with Deirdre and the rest of the family.
