LYNN (née McVeigh), Marie (Coolmine, Dublin 15 and formerly of Belfast). Passed away peacefully on 9th July 2026, after a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff in the Woodlands Unit at Connolly Hospital.

Beloved wife of Brian and dear mother of Karen, Alan and Damien. Predeceased by her parents Annie and Gerry McVeigh, sister Anne, and her brothers Redgie and Gerard.

Forever loved and sadly missed by her husband, daughter, sons, son-in-law Dave, daughter-in-law Joanna, grandchildren Aaron, Emma, Tommie and Sophie, sister Sheila, brother-in-law Owen, sisters-in-law Nellie and Kay, nephew Simon, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her home on Sunday evening (July 12th) between 4pm and 7pm. Removal on Monday morning (July 13th) to the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, Laurel Lodge arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium (due 1pm).

Kerry) July 6th., 2026 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, John, beloved husband of Goretti and much-loved father of Gerard, Martin, Derek and the late Diarmuid. Predeceased by his sister Catherine and Mary; sadly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Tonya, Milena, grandchildren Leo, Gerard, Abbegael, Michael, Liam, Luke, Harrison and Maeve, brother James, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

JohnMelvinof Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, and formerly of Ballina, Co. Mayo, and An Garda Síochána, passed away peacefully at his home on July 6^th 2026.

Beloved husband and best friend of Agnes, cherished dad of Noel, Lorna and Antonia, devoted grandad of Niall, Robert, Jane, Francesca, Anastasia, Kristina, Lowri and Joseff and brother of Martin and the late Mike.

He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, daughter-in-law Ruth, sons-in-law Martin (Beres) and Hefin, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing his humour, warmth and kindness.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the death of our beloved father and husband, JJ.

He passed away at home on July 6th, 2026 and will be forever missed and remembered by his wife Maura, daughter Marion and sons Paul, Alan, David and James.

JJ will be sadly missed by son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Alison, Stephanie, Nina and Sheila, grandchildren Heather, Jamie, Andrew, Corey, Robyn, Evan, Ailish, Calum, Leah and Brody, brother Noel, sister Marie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours and all who knew him.
