Sara Stockton (Flynn)Great Niece

Heaven has gained another angel. Many years ago I lost my Papa, Vincent’s brother Sean. There was almost nothing and definitely not anyone that could have replaced the love I had from my Papa. After my grandfathers funeral…Uncle Vincent came and sat next to me and put his arm around me and said he loved me and would be there. I was never more overcome with emotions of literally feeling my Papa through the love from Uncle Vincent and my family.

Nothing could have filled the hole left by my Papa. But after his passing I went and stayed with Uncle Vincent and Aunt Carolyn in Ireland, and I felt my grandfather in ways I never had imagined. Not only did my heart not feel so empty, I learned it had the capacity to grow in size to love all my Flynn family. Uncle Vincent then got to come to NY and hug and kiss my little son, named after my grandfather and Uncle Vincents brother Sean.

Uncle Vincent reminded me of my Papa, but I got to witness and fall in love with his other noteworthy characteristics! His love for his wife and family, his diligence, care for health and wellness and his stubborn ability to stand for what’s right.

I also appreciate and acknowledge the strength, faith and courage it takes to fight hard and provide for your family.

I think I beat him once in cards … but if you asked him I am sure he would deny it.

I love you Uncle Vincent – To my Flynn family—You are all in my hearts and prayers. I cannot wait to bring the children to Ireland soon.

Many Blessings
