On May 3rd 2020, the death occurred of Thomas (Tom) O’Keeffe (Castleknock Meadows, Laurel Lodge, Castleknock and formerly of Old Bride Street, Dublin 8), peacefully at home after a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his brothers Christy and Jimmy. Survived by his heartbroken wife Elizabeth (Betty) (nee Murphy), daughters Gillian and Linda, son Robert, mother Bridget, sons-in-law Trevor and Anthony, daughter-in-law Lorna, grandchildren Kate, Jake, Lauren, Daniel and Amy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family and friends.


Due to Government advice regarding public gatherings a private family funeral will take place.  A Memorial Service for Thomas will take place at a later date.  Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, can leave their condolences below. 

The corteige will drive through Laurel Lodge estate on Thursday 7th May at 12.40pm entering at Parklands and will pass Castleknock Drive and Castleknock Meadows, to arrive at Laurel Lodge Church for a Private Family Funeral at 1pm.

We want to thank all the staff of Beaumont hospital, he had attended the last 9 and half years, the wonderful caring staff of St. Francis Hospice palliative care team, and Carers from Right at home especially Francis and also our kind neighbours.
