Shay (James) Farrell

FARRELL, Shay (James) (Kilcock, Co. Kildare and formerly of Drimnagh, Dublin 12) February 19th, 2025 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at St. James Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Edel, deeply loved dad of Sean, Steven and Kellen, and cherished son of Shay and Ellen. Will be very sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, parents, brothers Keith and Bernard, brother-in-law Joey, sisters-in-law Lisa, Nicola and Michelle, godmother Mary, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and neighbours.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his residence on Sunday evening (February 23rd) between 5pm and 7pm. House private thereafter.

Removal on Tuesday morning (February 25th) to St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in Newlands Cross Cemetery.
