John ButlerFriend of Lisa, Aoibhin and lover of the Byrnes clan

I had a brief encounter with Sean Byrne once in my life, in the Craft Village on the square outside Cafe Del Mondo in Derry. It was a beautiful, sunny day and he was with Aoibhin or Aoife. I cannot remember for sure who he was with because in my memory of him, all I can remember was him smiling.

Sean will eternally be – a light that never goes out – in my memory. In the 3 minutes I spent in his company, he shone brighter than the sun shinning down on him with that smile.

To Lisa and Fiona and family. I so was shocked to hear about your Dad. Times are challenging enough at the moment but losing the Father of your family is devastating. I didn’t know or ever met Sean but he looks like a sound skin and sure didn’t he do well to snag the feisty Fiona and together brought all you beauties into the world.
You are a family of strong character and I hope you can lean on each other for support at this very difficult time.
I’ve been thinking away about you and the suddenness of which you lost your Da and my heart is sore for you all.
My sincerest condolences to you all.
Take care and best of wishes for the immediate time ahead and future.
