Sandra was such a funny, witty, smart, caring and talkative woman, in hard times herself and Jordan always welcomed me to stay and fed me. We had many long chat sessions that I loved. My deepest condolences to the whole family, she will be sorely missed but equally remembered and celebrated. RIP and thank you Sandra for the laughs and the kindness.

I first met Sandra when I was 16. I was a foreign student, didn’t speak much English and was a bit scared. I’m 44 now but I can clearly remember when I first saw her because I felt so relieved to find such a friendly and sweet smile on her. Since the very first moment I met Sandra she became an inspiration. I admired her energy, her strenght and loved her joy, her smile, her sense of humour and her kindness. She was my “mom abroad” and she opened her home (all of them did) and made me feel loved and part of her family. My family (they all loved her) and me are sending love and our deepest condolences to Cheryl, Jordan and all her family and loved ones. May you rest in peace, Sandra. Thank you so much for everything. I’m really lucky to have known you❤️
