CONNELL (née Hagerty), Philomena (Phyllis) (Palmerstown, Dublin 20) August 24th, 2020 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Beloved wife of the late John and dear mother to Francis, June, Ursula, Nuala, Rónan and John. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, sister Madge, grandchildren Ciarán, Emmet, Sarah, Deirdre, Abaigh, Jack, Niall, Rachel, Evan, Orla, Seán, Úna and Maria, great-granddaughter Robyn, sons-in-law Alan, Tony and Mick, daughters-in-law Sandra, Aileen and Anita, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Due to Government advice and restrictions regarding public gatherings and to protect our most vulnerable family members and our friends, a private family funeral will take place. People are welcome to join the private family funeral Mass remotely by following this LINK on Wednesday morning (August 26th) at 10 am followed by this LINK at 12 noon. We look forward to meeting everyone at a Memorial Service for Phyllis where we will honour her life at a later date.

My two favourite aunts growing up were Phyllis and Rita, then we immigrated and lost touch. Mom left us some 40 years ago so hopefully all the sisters are reunited in a “cool” place.
