The Family would appreciate if you could leave a message to be put into a book of condolences for the family.
Philip you were a lovely gentle man. If there is a heaven i hope you are there, having a chat with all the great writers and artists like yourself.
Will never forget Philip, a beautiful person, and very good friend to me and to my daughter Laura, RIP
On behalf of all the members of Aosdána we wish to extend our sympathies and condolences to Philip’s family. He was a wonderful poet and will be deeply missed by his artistic colleagues. Always a most friendly and witty man and in the midst of life’s adversities , he carried himself with great dignity.
Ever since we (Philip did all the genealogical work) worked out our degree of cousinship and expanded the Casey family tree, it’s been great having Philip as a friend. A most unselfish man. Despite his achievements, no egoism, no arrogance, no self-centredness.
Philip was a decent human being with a sparkling sense of humour. RIP
Rest in peace Philip.A wonderful gentleman.
Well we’ll never forget Philip, who could? A lovely, gentle, intelligent, loving man.
He relished our garden & our lunches together in latter years, as we did, his
company. Great to be with. So sad to think of gone.
