Peter, Brendan and families
Your dad and your loss are in my thoughts and prayers.
Losing your dad in this lockdown is unfathomably cruel, but what will get you through is your ability to love, to hope and to remember. The bond you and your family had with your dad hasn’t ended with his death but will live in through your memories and stories.
I wish I had some nugget of wisdom to ease your sadness but deep down I know there are no sufficient words.
I hope that in good time when you are ready the sun will shine for you again.
I will be at the celebration of Uncle Peter’s life when it’s arranged in the mean time I hope you receive all the support you need to take you through to happier days.
Ríona Clarke ( Hegarty) and Michael Hegarty
