Patrick (Paddy) O'Shaughnessy

O’SHAUGHNESSY, Patrick (Paddy) (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Swords Street, Oxmantown Road, Dublin 7) March 11th, 2020 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family and in the dedicated care of the staff at Mount Hybla Nursing Home, Castleknock. Cherished husband of Mary, adored father of Kevin and Elaine and brother of Eileen and the late Kevin and Maureen.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, daughter-in-law Sinead, Elaine’s partner Barry, treasured granddaughter Lucia, sister, special sister-in-law Mags, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. R.I.P. 

Reposing at Cunninghams Funeral Home, Church Avenue, Blanchardstown on Friday evening from 4pm until his removal to the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 10am followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.

Due to Government advice regarding public gatherings, it is advised that only family and close friends attend Paddy’s funeral. Those who cannot attend due to these restrictions, please leave condolences on this page.

Mary, Kevin, Elaine and family. Helen and I and Leigh Catherine and Mark extend our sincerest sympathy on the passing of Paddy. We have the fondest memories of him from our visit to Ireland in the millennium year 2000. We have you all in our minds during this sad time and we know that Paddy has gone to a better place.
