Cahill (née Duff) (Casana View and formerly of Thormanby Road, Howth, Co. Dublin) November 12th, 2021, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at St. Gabriel’s Nursing Home. Nora (‘Norrie’), beloved wife of the late Brian and dear mother of Jane, Susan, Mary, Simon, Ruth and Shane.

Sadly missed by her loving daughters and sons; her sons-in-law, Chris, Gerry, John and daughter-in-law, Jo; her grandchildren, Mark, Graham & Rachel, Simon, Anna & Michael, Saskia, Niamh & Brian, Conor, Dónal & Orna; her great-grandchildren, Conall, Senan & Max; her brother, Noel; and all of her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace

Norrie’s family also remembers at this time her sisters, the late Mary & Deirdre and her son-in-law, the late Arnold and their extended families, at this time.

The family appreciates that many will wish to pay their respects to Norrie as she reposes; however, in light of the current Covid-19 case numbers and out of respect for efforts to protect public health, they ask that people do so within the context of the church service on Wednesday. They appreciate your understanding and are grateful for the many kind words, thoughts, memories and condolences received. 

Removal on Wednesday morning (November 17th 2021) to the Church of the Assumption, Howth; arriving for Requiem Mass at 10 am, followed by burial in Fingal Cemetery.
