Maureen Galvin (née O’Connor)

GALVIN (née O’Connor), Maureen (Kinvara Road, Dublin 7 and formerly of Muff, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan) December 5th, 2020 (peacefully) in the kind and loving care of the wonderful staff at Mount Hybla Private Nursing Home, Castleknock. Beloved wife of the late John (Jack) and cherished and much loved mother of Michael and Julie and a devoted grandmother to Conor, Mikey, Cillian, Ben, Jarlath, Kate and Jen. Predeceased by her dear brother Michael (Mickey) O Connor. Sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Eugene, daughter-in-law Maura, sister-in-law Bernie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Due to Government advice and restrictions regarding public gatherings and to protect our most vulnerable family members and our friends, a private family funeral will take place. We look forward to meeting everyone at a Memorial Service for Maureen where we will honour her life at a later date. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral; but due to current restrictions cannot, may join the private family Funeral Mass on Monday morning December 7th at 11 am by following this LINK or, please leave your personal message or condolences below.
