O’BRIEN (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Easkey, Co. Sligo) June 26th 2024 (suddenly) at his home. Martin, beloved husband of the late Anne, cherished father of Neil and Shane, Predecease by his parents Martin and Theresa and dear brother of Martina, Maureen, Breda, Patricia, Peter, Noel, Enda, Liam, David, Mikie, Aiden and the late Gerry, Hughie, John and Peg. Sadly missed by his loving family, Kate, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts Nellie and Delia, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Cunninghams Funeral Home, Lucan on Sunday evening (June 30th) from 4pm to 6pm. Removal to the Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip on Monday morning (July 1st) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery. Martin’s Funeral Mass may be view by following this LINK below on Monday morning (Live only). The family wish to thank most sincerely, Cormac, Simone, Lynn, Therese, Angela, The Private Home Care Team, Lucan and St. Brigid’s Hospice, The Curragh for the care given to Martin. We will always remember you Martin. We went through good times and bad times together. We shared a lot of memories along the way. Had plenty of laughs on holidays etc. You left this world too soon but Anne will be happy to have you again.. Loved the chats on the phone and will miss that. Such a great loss to everyone. Especially his adored sons Neil and Shane and partner Kate. You will be missed beyond belief. Life and soul of all our family gatherings. Great times over the years.
