REID (Celbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Edenderry, Co. Offaly) May 4th., 2023 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family and in the loving care of the staff at St. Mark’s Unit, The Hermitage Clinic, John, beloved husband of Delia (Dee) and dear father of Carroll, Kryz and Alison and predeceased by his sister Imelda; sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Ella, Jake, Aria, Sophia, Phoebe and Aix, son-in-law Philip, daughters-in-law Lisa and Ying Ying, sisters Ita and Dorrie, brothers-in-law Roddy, Mike and Pat, sisters-in-law Maureen and Kathleen, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his home on Sunday evening (May 7th) between 5pm and 7pm. Removal on Monday morning (May 8th) to St Patrick’s Church, Celbridge arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by Cremation in Newland’s Cross Crematorium.

Absolute sadness on hearing today about John’s passing. We had fantastic times, as kids and teenagers with John as organiser and guide. He was a pivotal part of our happy times in our young years. Condolences to Delia and family.
