John Phillips

Phillips, John (Celbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Clogh, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny) March 15th 2025, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Gretta (née Harte), much-loved father of Margaret, Louis, Elaine, Alison and Niall and a devoted grandad of Aisling, Cormac, Oisín, Gearóid, Grace, James, Lara, Caoimhe, Sorcha, Donncha, Hugh, Seán, Cathal, Orla and Louis. Pre-deceased by his parents Margaret and Louis, brothers James and Patrick and nephew Aidan. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Miriam and May, sons-in-law Tom, Niall and Seamus, brothers Michael and Louis, sisters Eileen, Mary and Geraldine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his residence, on Monday evening (March 17th) between 4 pm and 8 pm. (W23 TW8K). House strictly private at all other times.  Removal on Tuesday morning (March 18th) to St. Anne’s Church, Ardclough, (W23 XE37) arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 pm followed by burial in Donacomper Cemetery.  John’s funeral service may be viewed (live only) by following this LINK.
