OWENS (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Arklow, Co. Wicklow) August 4th 2024 (peacefully) surrounded by his family and in the loving care of the staff at the Anne Young Ward, St. James’ Hospital. John, beloved husband of Mary, cherished father of Michelle, Louise, Trish and Judith, devoted grandfather of Lorcan, Colm, Fiachra, Kate, Alex, Rory and Aoife and dear brother of David, Stephen, Rosemary, Helen, Pam and Bernie. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Rob, Wayne, Ciarán and Scott, brothers-in-law John and Donal, sisters-in-law Breda, Margaret and Rose, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. R.I.P.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Wednesday evening (7th August) from 5pm to 7pm.
Removal to St. Patricks Church, Esker, Lucan on Thursday morning (8th August) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Arklow at 2pm (Approx).
