O’Connor, John (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Clash Athea, Co. Limerick) April 6th, 2025 peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at Maria Gorretti Nursing Home, Kilmallock.  Beloved husband of the late Eileen and dear brother of Padraig,(Pat) Maurice, Breed and Nora. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Agnes and his niece Mary.  

Sadly missed by his loving brothers, sisters, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, excellent carers Rose and Liz and many friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Thursday evening (April 10th) between 5 pm and 7 pm. Removal on Friday morning (April 11th) to the Church of the Devine Mercy, Lucan South arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 am followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.

A mass will be held for John in Athea Church, Co. Limerick at a later date.
