John was a beloved gentleman. He was kind, courteous and always had a smile on his face. Each time I was on duty we would always say a prayer together with Gwyneth his beloved wife and a good friend. I will miss you but am comforted knowing that you are at peace in God’s bossom . Rest in Peace John and I pray that God will comfort Gwyneth and the family at this time.

It’s been a pleasure to know John, he was a real gentleman. His great sense of humor, his stories, his generosity and his positive attitude will be truly missed. I spent years with John in the same Bible study group – that he hosted in his home – and his desire to know more about the Word of God was always a model to me. I’m so saddened to know the hardship your family is going through, and I want to offer my condolences and support. I will miss you John, but I am comforted knowing that you are with Christ now, “which is better by far” (Philippians 1:23). We’ll see each other again in the Kingdom of God.

Sincere sympathy to Gwyneth and family. Happy memories, from many years ago in Co. Meath. John was a man who could turn his hand to anything and do it well, always reliable ,good humoured and a fund of stories. A gentleman. Rest in peace John.
