I had received a lovely, lovely email from Joelle back in 2018, having caught up with her after quite a search. I had hoped to visit. I have fond memories of our shared car journeys and her wonderful hospitality, creating fabulous food in a tiny kitchen. So, so sad. Sincere condolences to Chris and Emily.

Werner BaumgartenMet my Just a Little 1960 in Hassocks, and later in Athis-Mons , Chateauneuf and latest dans le Bois de Boulonge.

Since that time, she has been in my heart. My wish, to look once again into her eyes, is now destroyed. May she rest in peace.
All the best wishes to her brother and daughter.

This is note is too late. Only now have I made contact after much too long with Chris and Joelle but only to find that they are no longer with us. My fond memories of Chris as a teacher – one of those who changed lives – and of subsequently discovering his friendship along with that of Joelle. My condolences to all your family for the losses yu have suffered – Dominic
