The death has occurred of Jim Lynagh (Retired Garda Sgt. and late of Ballydowd Grove, Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath) May 25th 2020.

Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.

Beloved husband of Maura and dear father of Kieran, Mary and John.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren Laura, Shayne, Suzy and Simon, daughters-in-law Cora and Alicia, brother Pat, sister-in-law Mary, niece Marie, relatives and friends. R.I.P.

 

Due to Government advice regarding public gatherings a private family funeral will take place.

Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, may watch the Funeral Mass on Wednesday 27th. May at 11am by following the link; https://lucanparish.com/live-webcam-stream

My thoughts and love are with Mary, Maura and the Lynagh family at such a sad time. Jim was a true gentleman, a kind, loving and gentle spirit. I have no doubt that somewhere up there he is to be found greasing the squeaky draws of heaven with butter and tomato ketchup. He will be sadly and much missed xxx

So sad to hear of the passing of Jim He was so friendly and loved to have a chat I missed him lately not taking his regular walks sympathy to Maura and family on your sad loss
