My sincere condolences to the Neville family. Irene meant so much to so many. Her loss is keenly felt in so many places but none as much as with you all. I cannot verbalize effectively how Irene made my life so much better just by being in it but that’s just what she did. I know I speak for all of us in Redwood/Connolly when I say Irene was the heart and soul of the ward. She shone so brightly and will be missed. Take care.

Irene was like a mother to us all on Redwood ward Connolly hospital. She was a caring, loving and easygoing woman, an epitome of peace. It’s so sad that she had to go this soon. I really miss her, may her gentle soul rest in peace. May God comfort and strengthen the entire family in this difficult time. Adieu mother Irene !

To Bríd, Cormac, Eoin, Sandra, Ciarán, Aoife and Conor, there are few words to describe the immense loss of Auntie Irene, a light has gone out in our family. She was the life and soul of any gathering, loved by all, universally. A kind word for everyone she met, immediate friend, and I would say, a mother figure to so many, at home and abroad.
I will always remember the infinite cups of tea and long chats into the small hours, when ye came down to visit us. What problem could not be fixed without tea, and lots of it.
Despite adversity, Irene always had a smile and infectious laugh, she bore her short illness with such dignity. Our hearts are broken, but we must be confident that she will be with her beloved Rory and Brian and is at Peace. Love to all , Gráinne x

To Bríd Eoin and Cormac and family. I am so so sorry of the pain and heartache you are all going through in 2020. Poor Brian now Irene who were both a force of nature on t
in Oaklawn Close. Both involved so much in the Community especially GAA. Irene was in our house growling up nearly every day for a cup of tea or we in yours. Irene’s organisational skills had to be great making sure we wrote a play and performed it everyyear in Scór. The the excitement of Skippy as Irene brought our dog for walks. Our family are devastated and all our love and condolences at this hard time.
