Hermann Mitchell (Woodview Heights, Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of St. Mantan’s Park, Wicklow Town and ex Temple Street Children’s Hospital) August 2nd 2022, (peacefully), in the loving care of the staff in St. Vincent’s Ward, at The Mater Hospital.
Beloved husband of Marie and dear father of Linda.
Pre-deceased by his sister Ann.
Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, son-in-law Eoin, sister Christine, brothers-in-law Pat and Nick, nephews Alan, Niall and Jason, grandnephew Shay, grandniece Ada, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. R.I.P.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Lucan on Friday evening (5th August) between 6pm and 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning (6th August) to St. Mary’s Church, Lucan arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.00am followed by cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium.

To Marie and Lynda our compassion and prayers. Hermann has been a faithful and committed follower of Jesus Christ for long years, and a wonderful brother in Christ to his friends in Trinity Church Gardner Street. Greatly missed.
One of the reasons I loved going to work with my Dad . Hermann was always like the fun Uncle making fun and joking with everyone. He was always there for my dad when mam got sick , a true friend that will be dearly missed.
Very sorry to hear about Hermann passing , worked with Hermann in Temple street , he was a lovely gentleman , always had a smile and a chat . Condolences to his wife Marie and daughter Linda & family and friends. Rest in peace xx

Marie and Linda, it has been a privilege to know Hermann for many years. He was always such a pleasant and dependable gentleman. My sincere sympathy to you, he will be greatly missed.
