Gordon Long

Kildare

Long, Gordon (Thomas) Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Mountmellick, Co. Laois, May 24th., 2024 (peacefully) in the loving care of St Brigid's Hospice, Kildare. Much loved husband of Mabel (née Craig) and cherished father of Andrea, Melanie, Rachel and the late Janet. An adored grandfather and great grandfather.

 

He will be forever missed by his loving wife, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Charles, Colin, John and Emerson, brothers Ivan and Philip, (predeceased by his brothers George and Percy, and his sister Eva), brothers in-law, sisters in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

 

Special thanks to his wonderful carers and all the staff at St. Brigid's Hospice.

 

Gordon's Funeral Service will take in St. Andrew's Church of Ireland, Lucan on Tuesday (May 28th) at 11am followed by cremation in Newland's Cross Crematorium.
