Funeral Information
The Family would appreciate if you could leave a message to be put into a book of condolences for the family.
To the family of Gerry, my name is Darren Mooney. I had the pleasure of living in cottage No 11 in Blainroe for 12 years, next door to Gerry and Norma. I only heard of Gerry’s death on Saturday last, unfortunately, as with Norma I’m out of the country at the moment and can’t attend Gerry’s funeral, but will attend online.
I haven’t been living in Blainroe for many years but have kept in regular contact with Gerry, I’m upset at your brothers passing and can only express my sincere condolences. We had many happy moments in Blainroe and phone conversations over the years, both himself and Norma were so kind to me over the years and had many funny moments as they listened to many of my ‘dodgy’ singing rehearsals next door!! Both were full of fun and kindness. He was a very private man and I respected him for that, I’m very aware that he’d been in bad health over the last few years and I can only pray that he had a peaceful passing. I’m sorry I can’t attend in person but will, with your permission visit his final resting place once I get home. You’re in my thoughts today.
Sincerely
Darren Mooney
