LESLIE, Geraldine (Jelly) (Celbridge & Leixlip, Co. Kildare) December 13th, 2019 (peacefully) surrounded by her family and in the loving care of the staff at St. Raphael’s, Celbridge. Beloved sister of Fr. Pat, Kathleen, Mary, Lillie, Larry, Margaret and Ann. Jelly will be sadly missed by her loving sisters, brothers, brothers-in-law Peter and Oliver, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at St. Raphael’s, Celbridge on Tuesday evening (December 17th) between 4 o’c and 8 o’c. Removal on Wednesday morning (December 18th) to The Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o’c followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.

Dearest Mary and family l am so sad to hear of Jelly’s death. Today the world is at a loss, empty of the joy of Jelly and heaven is a much fuller place., you all now have a part, a special part that dwells in heaven. My Mother told me as a small child when l tried to grasp the concept of death, l accused her in question saying” are you and dad” really going to die on me”? She sat me on her knee and told how yes she and my dad would die but because Jesus did what he did on the cross we would unite after death and never be separated from him or each other ever again. She was indeed truthful and a real reliable trustworthy level headed lady. Mary l know you enough to say Jelly knew the great love of you her sister so she was and is blessed. Love never dies.
