George Vernon Leahy

LEAHY, George Vernon (Blanchardstown and formerly of Clonkeen Road and Portrane), 8th May 2024, aged 90. Died peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at the Sycamore Unit, Connolly Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife, Margaret and their children, Mark, Anne-Marie and Patrick.

Vernon was predeceased by his sisters, Dorothea, Gertrude and Ada. He will be greatly missed by his family, his grandchildren, Anthony, Jonathan, Benjamin, Kate, George, Joseph, David, Ava and Alex, daughter-in-law, Levina, sisters-in-law, Joan, Kay and Marta, brother-in-law, James, and his many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and carers. 

Vernon will repose at Cunningham's Funeral Home, Blanchardstown, on Sunday afternoon, 12th May, from 3pm to 5pm. 

Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, 13th May, at 10am, in St Brigid's Church, Blanchardstown, followed by burial in Dean's Grange Cemetery.
