Furlong (Rathkenny, Navan, Co. Meath and formerly of Palmerstown, Dublin 20) October 6th. 2018, (peacefully), at The Hermitage Clinic. George, beloved husband of Audrey and dear father of Philip, Róisín and the late Ailish.
Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, grandchildren Alex, Luke and Lauren, Philip’s Fiancée Sinead and her family, sisters Yvonne, Olivia and Patricia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, work colleagues in Coca Cola, members of MU Barnhall R.F.C., relatives and friends. R.I.P.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Monday evening (8th. October) from 6pm until 8.00pm.
Removal to St. Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown on Tuesday morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.00am followed by burial in Esker cemetery.

I happened to meet a Coca Cola employee today and we were talking in general about people I should know and I asked him did he know George Furlong. I was shocked when he told me George died about 4 weeks ago. As someone who knew George over a long no of years i wish to offer my condolences to you on the loss of a great friend.
