John MackenAunt

Dear,
Paul, Paul JR, Dane, Lauren, Grand-dad Macken, Alan, Linda & Denis,
I offer my deepest condolences & I am so sorry to hear that my aunty Freda has passed away.
My memories of Freda were all great, & some of my best where when Grand-dad, Nanny, Mam, Dad, Alan, Barbara, Denis, Jackie, Linda & Jackie would go down to the local pub of a Saturday night or Sunday and leave poor Freda to mind all of us mad kids, & watch us destroy Nanny’s house, but somehow it was always clean and in order before they got back.
Other memories where all the great times we had in Bettystown in the Caravans. I was privileged to be part of such a great knit, close family, whom I loved.

Freda is in a better place, free from her pain & with Nanny over looking us all. Although, if she is like any other Macken, she will have found someone to argue with by now, as us Macken’s always enjoy a good argument, it keeps us young, “sure look at Freda, did not look a day over 35”
But for all you non Macken’s don’t take it to heart as Life is too short.

Good bye Freda, Miss you
Love you always
Johnny

To Paul, Paul jnr, Dane and Lauren im so sorry for your loss, we were so heartbroken to hear Freda had passed. We wish we were there to celebrate her life with you all, just know we are grieving here with you and will be celebrating her life also! I was so happy to see Freda back in 2016 even though it was only brief at Graham’s wedding I spent most of the night chatting to her sharing laughs and story’s! Being the youngest in my family and not knowing everyone the way the rest of my brothers and sister did I always still felt at home with Dads family and Freda always made me feel loved when I was over there, she was such a warm hearted beautiful Aunty and I will miss her! No more pain Rest In Peace now love you Freda xx
