Elvia Tawfik

Tawfik, Elvia (Viva) (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Egypt), passed away peacefully on September 20th, 2024, in the presence of her family and under the compassionate care of the staff at Beaumont Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Sherif and devoted mother to Mina and Mark.

Elvia will be deeply missed by her loving husband, her sons, cherished granddaughter Theodora, sisters Daisy and Nermine, daughters-in-law Werina and Caroline, mother-in-law Dalal, as well as her brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, extended family, and friends.

The funeral procession will arrive at the Church of St. Maximus and St. Domatius Coptic Orthodox Church, St. Alphonsus Road Lower, Drumcondra, Dublin 9, for a service at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, 24th September, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill, Co. Dublin.
