Sending love and sympathy to the Martin’s at this difficult time. Eamonn was a kind dear man who gave unconditionally to his family, friends and community. I remember participating in the many benefits he ran for the Sophia Housing Projects. He was a talented gardener and conversationalist. He was a lover and promoter of the arts and a gentle soul. He will be truly missed. Deeply sorry for your loss. Sending a virtual hug and condolences.

Very sorry to read of Eamonn’s death though we have not met in 20 years+ since i moved to London. I remember him as a great family man, giving great support to two strong-willed daughters and a quiet son. I bet he was a fantastic grandfather and made his in-laws feel as welcome as close relatives. He approached Life with great humour and compassion. I pay tribute to him as a true progressive who helped others through his job, with people locally, and in charitable actions. My condolences to all his family and friends, hoping Covid restrictions will not prevent you from celebrating a Life lived to the full. Will remember him privately and when we meet in person.

My sincerest condolences to Marguerite and all of Eamonn’s family at this time. I spent many wonderful years working with Eamonn and learnt so much from him about ensuring every person is treated with dignity and respect. May he rest in peace.

Eamonn always met you with a big smile and was quick to share his laugh. His dedication to Sophia and the people that are supported by the organisation took an enormous amount of energy, of which he had a boundless amount, he will be sorely missed. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam
