Colfer, Des (Roselawn, Dublin 15 and formerly of Navan Road) June 25th., 2024 peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the care of the staff at the Mater Private Hospital, Dublin. Beloved husband of Eithne née Ward and dear father of Ailish and Claire and a devoted grandfather of Jonathan and Amelia. Much loved son of Peggy and a beloved brother of Paddy, Jean and Alan. Predeceased by his father Pat, his brother Stephen and his brothers-in-law Liam and Aidan.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, grandchildren, son-in-law Kevin, brothers, sister, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, Guinness colleagues and many friends.

May Des rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home Clonsilla on Friday evening (June 28th) between 5 pm and 7 pm.

Removal on Saturday afternoon (June 29th) to Mount Jerome Crematorium, for a service at 2.30 p.m. to celebrate Des’s life.
