Derek Hogarty

HOGARTY, Derek (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Thomond Road, Ballyfermot) June 26^th, 2024, suddenly at home. Devoted and beloved husband of Rosaleen, proud, adoring father of Nicole, Keith and Sereena and besotted grandfather of Alfie and Daisy. Predeceased by his mother Josephine, father James, brothers William and Noel, sister Margaret, uncle Eddie and beloved Bobby and Charlie.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, grandchildren, son-in-law Mark, brothers Tony, Jim, Patrick and Andrew, sisters Sylvia, Anne and Martina, aunt Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives, wonderful neighbours, friends and his buddies and all his colleagues at Davitt Road Depot, Dublin City Council.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday (2^nd July) from 5pm to 8pm. House strictly private on Wednesday and Thursday morning please.

Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Esker, Lucan on Thursday morning (4^th July) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by Newlands Cross Crematorium arriving at approximately 12.30pm.
