I am really sad this evening when i heard this news. I worked in the lab with Dave nearly 20 years ago when i was young. He gave me great advice and minded me when i was young. We had many walks and chats together in the Botanic Gardens. Other times I would drive him to Capel St for banjo parts. We had great times together. Please accept my sincere
They were good times and I think if him a lot since then. Please accept my condolence on your loss.

Deepest sympathy on the passing of a talented true gentleman. He made a banjo for my 12 year old son in 2018 and it was a privilage to meet with him in Ballylongford
May he rest in peace.
