SOFIATI (née Kau), Claudia (Clonsilla, Dublin 15 and formerly of Sao Paulo, Brazil) April 16th, 2025, peacefully, at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Beloved wife of Eduardo and much loved mother of Eduardo and Rodrigo.
Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, mother Maria José, sister Miriam, brothers Paulo and David, father-in-law Adriano, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Funeral service will take place on Friday (18th April) at 11.30am in Cunninghams Funeral Home, Blanchardstown Village followed by cremation at Dardistown Crematorium due at approximately 1pm.

Dear Eduardo and dear Eduardo and Digo, we are very very sorry. Our hearts and minds are with you. Your mum was a dear friend and we’ll miss her too. The great moments our two families spent together will always be in our memories. The fun the boys had at school and in all of their playdates will always be a blessing to remember. We’ll remember Claudia smiling, laughing and loving her family and friends. Now she will always be an angel guiding you and protecting you. Let’s stay in touch. Sending lots of light and strength your way.
Eduardo, I am so sorry for your loss, please accept my most sincere condolences. I know there are no words that can ease your pain at this time, but I am thinking of you my friend, and wishing you all the strength and love you need to get through this difficult time.

Dear Eduardo, Rodrigo and Eduardo Jr.
I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your beloved wife and mother. Words cannot fully express the sorrow felt for your loss. She fought her battle with incredible strength and grace, and her love for all of you was evident.
I happened to know Claudia during the meet ups of the Expat Wives group when we have just moved to Ireland. She was was a strong and sweet woman, a dedicated mother and wife.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. May you find comfort in the beautiful memories you shared and the love that surrounds you. She will always be remembered for the warmth she brought into your lives and the lives of others.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I met Claudia in 2016 through the EWD group, and I always had a deep affection for her. She was a special person, always so positive, and I will always remember her with warmth and gratitude.
