TOON (née O’Brien), Claire (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Sutton, Co. Dublin) September 28th, 2020 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Connolly Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Leslie (Les) and dear sister of Mary, Vincent and Philip. Sadly missed by her loving sister, brothers, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Due to Government advice and restrictions regarding public gatherings and to protect our most vulnerable family members and our friends, a private family funeral will take place. We look forward to meeting everyone at a Memorial Service for Claire where we will honour her life at a later date.
Those who would have liked to attend the funeral; but due to current restrictions cannot, may join the private family Funeral Mass on Friday, October 2nd at 11 am by following this LINK or please leave your personal message or condolences” below.

Dear Mary, Vincent and Philip,
I’m so sorry for your loss. What a sad time for you all and hard to believe that Claire is gone, so quickly in the end. She was so young and a very good person.
I have lovely memories of wonderful conversations at the kitchen table in Sutton before Claire decided to head off to The Middle East and great fun also with your Mum Peggy at those times. Claire was brave and courageous to do that. Little did she know then she was flying off to meet her future husband Les and all they subsequently shared together. I hope they are all reunited now in Spirit with dear uncle Aidan.
May you be surrounded with Love at this time and may Claire rest in Peace.

So sorry for your loss! I worked with Claire and she was always so jolly, always put a smile on everyone’s face! She was such a friendly person and would always be there to help you out! I really enjoyed her company in the time I worked with her in the lab!
