Cathal ​Ó Miachain

Ó Miachain (Lucan, Co. Dublin) April 24, 2020 (peacefully surrounded by family) in the loving care of the staff at Ryevale Nursing Home, Leixlip. Cathal, a retired teacher, beloved husband of Patricia and dear father of Macdara, Manus and Muireann, brother of the late Margaret (Peggy), sadly missed by his loving family, adored grandchildren Naomi, Luke, Aisling, Kimberly, Aaron and Emily, daughter-in-law Bernadette, sisters-in law, god daughter Margaret, the Doran family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private funeral will take place.  The family would like to thank you for your support and understanding at this sensitive time.

If you wish, you can leave personal message with Cunningham’s funeral Director's for the family. Cathal's Funeral cortege will be driving through Hillcrest at 10.45am on Tuesday 28 April if neighbours and friends would like to pay their respects. The family will stop outside the family home if neighbours and friends would wish to stand safely in the street supportingly that would be much appreciated.

I have very fond memories of Cathal, i remember he would always give me a bottle of Lucozade and a bar of chocolate everytime i seen him, he was a true gentleman and had the kindest soul, may he rest in peace.
