I am so saddened by Tony’s death and can only imagine the sorrow that must be permeating his lovely community. I wish we could be there to support you at this time Barbara, but we are there in spirit, sharing the funny anecdotes, reminding ourselves of his witty under statements, and so glad we spent what time we did with Tony. You have been such a rock for him for so long, Barbara and I hope you can take some solace in knowing he is at peace – we will all miss him . Love to you and his family and the community which made us so welcome on our visits. Andrew Tyndall

Grandad did everything to make us smile. The first time we met him, he spent hours with us in the paddock making a huge teepee. He would cook us the biggest meals I’ve ever seen and play all sorts of practical jokes on us. I remember him going around the house and telling everyone about how many teeth humans had on average just so he could watch everyone as we looked ridiculous, opening our mouths and counting our teeth. Every day we were with him was beautiful and I wish there could have been more of them. I send my love to everyone who’s heart he touched.
