FOX (née Barden) (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Drumfinn Avenue, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10) June 15th 2021 unexpectedly in St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Ann, beloved wife of Joe, loving mother of Antoinette and John, devoted grandmother of Kayleigh and Seán and cherished daughter of the late Annie and Paddy. Predeceased by her sisters Mary and Rosaleen and brothers Patsy and John. Sadly missed by her loving family, sisters Elizabeth and Brigid, brothers Jimmy and Richard, sisters-in-law Kay and Marie, brothers-in-law Jim and Gerry, John’s partner Elaine, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, former work colleagues of Superquinn, Lucan and a large circle of friends.

A private funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings. When the current circumstances have passed we look forward to celebrating Ann’s life with friends and extended family at a later date.

Ann’s Funeral Cortège is expected to leave her home, on Monday morning (21st. June) at 11 am and will then proceed to the St. Mary’s Church, Lucan. Anyone wishing to stand along the route as a mark of respect are asked not to gather in groups and to adhere to all guidelines relating to social distancing and the wearing of face masks.

Joe, I couldn’t believe the news when I heard it! About a week ago I saw u both watching & laughing while I reversed my car on Suir Road into my garden. As I told Bridget, I was probably cursing like a trouper with th traffic & the bikes getting in my way. Ann looked wonderful as she laughed. The news was a big shock. I’m sorry for you & the family.
