CASEY, Philip (Dublin 7 and formerly of Hollyfort and Screen, Co. Wexford) February 4th., 2018 peacefully at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown after an illness bravely borne with fortitude and dignity. Beloved brother of John, Peter, Karina and Mick, predeceased by his parents Ann and Pat; sadly missed by sisters-in-law Aileen and Geraldine, nieces, nephews, grandnephew, grandnieces, aunts, uncles, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Lucan on Wednesday evening (7th. February) between 6 o’c and 8 o’c. A humanist funeral service in celebration of Philip’s life will be held on Thursday afternoon (8th. February) in Mt. Jerome Crematorium at 1:45 o’c.

Ever since we (Philip did all the genealogical work) worked out our degree of cousinship and expanded the Casey family tree, it’s been great having Philip as a friend. A most unselfish man. Despite his achievements, no egoism, no arrogance, no self-centredness.
