COONEY, Margaret (Margie) (née Johnston), (Chapelizod, Dublin 20) August 6th, 2026 (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family, in the care of the kind staff at St. James’s Hospital and two days short of her 92nd birthday. Beloved wife of Jackie and much-loved mother of Aideen, John and Orla. Predeceased by her sisters Marie, Alice and Lena and her brothers Jimmy and Patsy.
Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughters, son-in-law Anthony, daughter-in-law Chu, adored grandchildren Darragh, Aoife, Emma, Ciarán and Jessica, sisters, brother, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, her good neighbours and friends.
Removal on Tuesday morning (August 11th) to the Church of the Nativity of the B.V.M., Chapelizod arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.00am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.
