CAFFREY, George (Coolmine, Dublin 15 and formally of Xerox Ireland and past president of Coolmine RFC) Sept 9th 2020 (peacefully) surrounded by his family and closest friend and in the loving care of the staff at the Mater Hospital. Beloved husband of Vera and much loved father of Damien and Ray;

Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, grandchildren Leon, Harrison, Julia and Ryan, daughters-in-law Nicola and Catríona, mother May, sisters Joan, Denise, Ruth, Dorothy and Karen, mother-in-law Annie, brothers-in-law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

A private funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings.

I’m saddened by the news of George’s passing. I have fond childhood memories of growing up together, starting school, long summers playing, a very large go-kart. Our paths crossed on Merrion Sq. about 25 years ago. He talked proudly of his son travelling abroad to pursue a career in equine. Pre-deceased by her sisters Terrie and Helen, her brothers Con and Harry, and her dear niece Jenny.

Margaret will be deeply missed and forever loved by her devoted husband Nick; her sons Ivan and Warren; her daughters-in-law Maria and Emily; and her treasured grandchildren Oisín, Isabelle, Cillian, Ethan and Dáire. I’m saddened by the news of George’s passing. I have fond childhood memories of growing up together, starting school, long summers playing, a very large go-kart. Our paths crossed on Merrion Sq. about 25 years ago. He talked proudly of his son travelling abroad to pursue a career in equine. I’m sure he and all the family will miss George greatly, as I miss the days.
